In Palestine, One of the Jewish women from the area whose ancestors had been here since before the Ottoman takeover when this area was a part of Jerusalem had married a Palestinian man; Her name was Imani and his name was Ahmad. They were very close, and were going to move to America so that his wife could be Hebrew openly.
Once they moved to America, he had noticed that a lot of propaganda was put on the news, Internet, etc. Against Jewish people and that a lot of people hated Jews, so he didn't want her to be openly Jewish just yet.
In a hotel they paid for after converting their money to U.S. dollars, he started searching the Internet for more information on his predicament.
"I... May have moved to the wrong country..." Ahmad said, then he looked up how other countries were and found that most countries were being pitted against Israel and Gaza.
His eyes perk up, he's horrified. Lips pressed, he thought "Welp, at least my wife won't be put to death by Hamas if they found out she was one of the Hebrews indigenous to the area... So... Yeah..."
Ahmad watched as his wife, who spoke zero English, kept spouting gleams of excitement in Hebrew which when translated to English just meant "We're gonna get jobs, have babies, and be free!" Then kept rambling about how life would be so much better as Ahmad thought "Maybe my wife should pretend to be white while I pretend to be Afghani to hide any involvement."
His wife spoke to him using Arabic which translated as "Can we go get... Can we get... Can we get... Fruit roll ups?" This is because something happened that led to Israelis not being able to get fruit rolls up as they had stopped selling them in the country for some reason before the war which led to an odd phenomenon where some rando' tried to smuggle them into Israel.
Ahmad replied in Arabic, which translated to "Later."
His wife is 23 and he's 48. They've been married for 1 year, they've known each for 3 years.
The next year, Imani ended up pregnant.
Ahmad ended up moving her to Houston because her Jewish accent attracted looks from strangers in New York City which prompted him to buy a gun.
They had a baby girl named Jojo!
