Today was a very normal day.

Today has always been a very normal day.

You don't really know how else to describe it.

Your friend Candy has been with you for a very long time, and her boyfriend Jonathan has been with you just as long.... Okay, not really, you just met him, but it feels like it.

Today is very boring. You don't really know how to describe it. You can't think of the words because you don't know the words because you had forgotten the words.

As a result, when candy decided that she wanted to stay with you for a bit after you had basically hung out with her boyfriend just to get to know each other, because... you just want to see what it's like... Well, you don't really want to see what it's like to have a boyfriend... but you want to see what he's like... whether he'll be a good boyfriend to candy or not.

Things do not go very well. Things go very, very badly. Don't get me wrong... hanging out with him went very, very well.

It's what happened with candy that went very, very badly.

You were stuck with her for a very, very long time as, essentially speaking, her parents have paid you about $20 to essentially hang out with her and it's more along the lines of your family is very poor and this $20 helps you buy food from the store.

You just have to save up your money. There's an extra $40 bonus if you go to the amusement park and this actually led to a genuine friendship which you find odd because usually these Arrangements don't lead to real friendships. You no longer needed the money, but you didn't really care.

You look her in the eye and today is very different. You've just gotten back from hanging out with her boyfriend to conversate and try to assess his personality. He's a really good dude and you really like him.

She's boiling some water and you don't know why she's boiling water. Doesn't make sense. You've never seen the need to boil water. Though you are very poor, so if you're boiling water it's to clean it.

Otherwise you drink the water. Industrial countries make it very hard to survive if poor.

She asked you if you've seen him or been in a relationship with him and you've been talking to him for the past 4 weeks and you're "like no I don't really know the guy I'm just trying to make sure he's a good boyfriend for you."

She looks at you and she just starts giving you this weird little Death Stare, normally she's incredibly adorable which contributed to the growth of your friendship, looks like a child but is actually an adult, but still with all the adult biological features like boobs and stuff and height.

She switches her pink hair in the wind and you're just like "what's wrong?" the vibe is off. She goes to the stove picks up the pot of boiling hot water and you're like okay she's probably going to cook with it or something and then she basically tosses it on you.

There are these blood curdling screams, "MEE-eh-YaAHHHheHHH!" you Yelp.

"I can't believe you do something like that, Carly." Candy methodically told you.

"why did you do that?!" Carly screeched.

Next thing you know, there is an ambulance and a police car. In all serious, this you've never seen her act like this before! Not in your wildest dreams have you ever imagined that she would do this to you! You guys were close you were tight-knit you were best friends, you may have been only there for money, but it got to the point where you didn't even need money to be there, you were just poor and needed to keep being paid!

She actually knew that; she was fully aware of how far things had gotten, like she was aware that there was a payment involved because she overheard her parents talking about it. but effectively speaking. she would hide your payment just to see if you'd stay and effectively. you still stayed. It was then that she rewarded you with your actual pay.

You have no idea what is happening. but as the ambulance had drove you away- well, actually, as the stretcher was being placed into the ambulance, honestly, you were asking on your back with Burns "Is it because my parents- is it because your parents paid me to hang out with you?!"

You are so confused... You've been friends for 6 years! There was no possible way you could keep up this friendship now! You had to cut it off, you couldn't possibly just continue to be a friend with someone who throws a bowl of boiling water on you!

The next day she comes to the hospital and pretends nothing ever happened. She acts as though nothing occurred. "is she okay?" she asks kind of blankly, like she doesn't actually care, it's definitely off for the situation...

You are livid -- cursing her out, calling her out her name, all feeling Justified and proud of it because you were livid! You were happy to insult her because of that sole event! There was a pervasive bitterness that basically wretched deep into your soul and there was nothing that could wean it out of you!

There is no peace, you need the money but screw them. She is worthless to you.

Screw them. Screw her. You wish she'd die.

"Get her out of my room." Is all you asked for, and the doctors obliged. You still have no idea why she did this, but you do know you're pressing charges.
