The Fear Bit Me | Part 2 | Kung Fu Panda | A.U. | Tai Lung is the Dragon warrior | The Instinct To Flee

Walking like models, the next day, An Qi & Li Mei with their Chinese hand fans fanning their feathers to cool off in the sun. An Qi uses it to cool off, while Li Mei just likes to use them because they look cool, to be honest.

They sit together on the ground in front of a pond in a hilly area replete with various grass. Li Mei can see a bog on the horizon and a cave to the south decorated with various jewels, clearly a rich man moved into a cave and made it his home. The temperature is a little cool and the sky is overcast.

All Li Mei could think of was "Is Tai Lung really that bad? And if he's as bad as mother had originally said, how can he love me? And if he loves me, or if I get him to, won't he love me enough to let me be the double standard? No... It never works like that. how he treats others will always leak into the relationship no matter how much he loves you."

Li Mei looks at her gander father from afar, and says, "It's just his personality... But... I'd love to be married to the dragon warrior... I feel a sense of pride when he flirts with me..."

Meanwhile...

Tai Lung is arguing with all the Jade Palace about how he's gonna go & kill Li Mei, but Po is like "Don't do that! You'll lose your title as Dragon warrior, you can find a better goose!" Po is just tryin' to keep him from going to prison, man...

Tai Lung shouts, "She should have loved me!" Tai Lung takes this as a hit to his pride.

Shifu yells, "You've known her for 5 weeks, she's not worth it." Shifu sees this as him crashing out, but thinks he'll never hurt anyone.

The other Furious Five just stay away from the drama, as Tigress just feels like "This is... Insane..."

Shifu walks up to him, stern and baffled, saying, "This is just a literal goose. Goose is for the gander, not the Leopard."

An elderly servant, a lady Goat named Shing Li, whispered, "God in Christ made Goose for the Gander..." So that Tai Lung doesn't beat him up for saying that, the whisper just needed to be low enough for Tai Lung not to hear.

Tai Lung wasn't phased, he just ran out to train to burn off steam.

For some men, it's the ego. The ego being burned is the most humiliating, worst part of it all.

When a prideful man's ego is bruised, if he's got a bad personality to bat, he may go off.

I love a man with some pride to bat off the issues that come with dating a man with insecurity, but dangerous pride is a no-go.

Outside, he was brutalizing those dummies. Clawing, shredding, ripping them apart. He was heartbroken. He felt embarrassed. He went and asked the others if they read the letter, The furious five said they never did, but would have never told him if they did because they knew he'd kill Li Mei.

To win back his pride, he tried to win over Tigress, who rejected him with "I'm not interested..." His flirts were awkward and insecure, so he went to Viper, the most beautiful snake of them all.

She would truly be an ego booster, a gorgeous win.

Viper did not want him, however, as he was violent. Viper just replied to his "How are you? Would you mind going on a little date?" With a "No, I'm sorry, I'm not interested..."

Viper tried to be nice, never would try to be rude to the Dragon Warrior who helped train Po and the others.

Viper went to slither away until Tai Lung stepped on her back, a hard stomp.

A heavy stomp from a large predator like a leopard would likely crush or severely injure the snake’s spine and ribs, especially if the force landed squarely on the body rather than just the scales.

Snakes have a long, flexible spine, but heavy direct pressure can break bones and damage internal organs.

If the snake’s body is crushed enough, it may be incapacitated or killed outright before it could strike back.

Viper immediately bit Tai Lung, being a late bloomer when it came to growing fangs as a child.

If the stomp doesn’t quickly kill or sufficiently immobilize the viper, the snake could still twist its body to strike.

Snakes don’t need their whole body to bite — they can coil and bite using just the head section.

Viper's back wasn't stomped hard enough to break, Tai Lung was careful in that regard. Viper shouts, "What the heck?! Tai Lung!" This is the nicest character... And she's being treated this way... By a literal psychopath...

Tai Lung lifted his leg off and immediately ran to a doctor, no words.

Viper venom (from species like Russell’s viper or other vipers) can cause local tissue damage, severe pain, swelling, and systemic effects if injected.

In a big cat like a leopard, even a venomous bite might not be immediately lethal — many large predators have thick skin, muscle, and fur that reduce the effectiveness of a single bite. But it could still pose a risk if the cat were bitten on a vulnerable area (inside of the paw, muzzle, or tongue).

Leopards and other big cats regularly prey on snakes, including venomous ones, using powerful paws and precise strikes to crush or disable them before a bite can happen.

After being treated by a doctor, both Viper and Tai Lung got better.  Viper's bite seems to knock you out, which is what it did to Tai Lung once he entered the doctor's office nearby after yelling to Shifu that "Viper bit me!" With Viper screaming "Tai Lung stomped on me!" The Palace got them help. It was insane!

Tai Lung, afraid to return after his previous actions, chose to go to the shop across the street to hide away.

You see, He stomped on Viper's body because he felt so insecure at the fact that a literal snake didn't want to go out with him.

As a result, Shifu was scolding him the entire day, telling him "She could have died and you could have died!"

Tai Lung didn't want to go back to the palace. to face his growing shame

Suddenly, a black flash spread across his body, it was very confusing at first, but when he realized what was going on, he was furious.

Tai Lung carried around Chinese Yuan on him, Yuan is literally just Chinese currency, and at the time, he has ¥500.

Tai Lung looks around for his money frantically, then realized what happened.

He slowly looks over to the thief, --

...the only people here were a male Tundra Swan who was father of Xiao Lan, and his name was Xiao Shun.

The other was a random Pig. Shing Shin, which was someone he could never expect to be that fast until he saw his own bag of Yuan on Shing Shin's shoulder. Then there was the other shopkeeper, June, a pig with a nice wig. She looked ovewr at him in shocked, perplexed as well..

There was also Tiny, the bald pig, and her child she had with Shing shin, Nia, whom she raises living home alone with Nia.

June, the shop owner that wore that nice wig, was in shock at the speed of the pig, and was asking him questions such as <b>"Are you a kung fu master? Only <i>they</i> can go <i>so fast!</i></b> She was also flirting with him as she was a pig as well and believed he was very skilled in kung fu. He was a Japanese Ninja.

Ninjas are raised from poor families to be thieves from babyhood, but are also hired as assassins. As a result, There were both male & female ninjas.

The pig was named Shing shin. His mother, Shay-Yuan, had immigrated to Japan from China and met his father, Tomoko, there in Japan, whcih is why his name sounds more Chinese.

Tai Lung spotted a thief, and handled him by breaking his spine with a bone shattering knee to the back. too far, but he was brutal. And... Well... In a horrible mood...

You never wanted to make him do his job in a horrid mood...

Meanwhile...

Li Mei, the Chinese Goose in the photo, was in the shop looking at new dresses to buy from the shopkeeper named Xiao Lan (小兰) — “Little orchid.”

Xiao Lan was a Tundra Swan.

They were BFFs, so Li Mei always bought her favorite dresses here and directed female customers here when they talked about buying dresses.

Xiao Lan always made the best clothes.

Xiao Lan told her that "I heard that you were in a relationship with the famous dragon warrior." Giggling this little giggle smirk.

Li Mei, surprised, asked, "How did you know he wanted to be with me?"

Xiao Lan says, "People saw him nuzzling a goose's neck." Payfully. She had this bold smirk on her face, then she just started giggling.

Li Mei felt awkward about that, and said, "Oh, um... We aren't an item... It didn't work out..." She said this to keep her friend from thinking she was crazy for rejecting a dragon warrior, a powerful being.. Highly admired.... However, her friend wasn't like that. She was like, "Oh, you guys... Huh? You broke up with him?"

Li Mei said, "I wanted him, but... I couldn't date him because it'd be too awkward... A predator... I'm his prey..." The swan understood as she was a swan, and she thought it was a bit gross for a Leopard to date a goose, and nuzzle on her neck, but never judged as interspecies marriage wasn't looked down upon and was normalized.

After the shopping trip, Li Mei had bought one dress and gifted it to her mother, An Qi, who was so proud of her for giving her mother such nice things.

An Qi deserved it for taking such good care of her for all these years.

An Qi kissed Li Mei on her forehead, not in a flirtatious way, just a normal mother/daughter way. Her daughter kissed her on the forehead in return.

That night, they went to sleep.

However, Li Mei heard a noise, and so did her gander father, Liang Yu.

Both of them awoke.

Liang Yu snuck out of bed to not awaken her sleeping mother, while Li Mei was too scared to leave her bed in fear of an intruder harming her.

Liang Yu was a gander, however, and ganders are aggressive and very protective.

Liang Yu charged head on like a Chinese goose does and checked, only to realize that the noise was a harsh bang on his front door. He wasn't opening that! He didn't invite anyone over, "They should just go home!" He said.

The Dragon Warrior, Tai Lung, shouts "It is Tai Lung!" And Liang Yu is shocked, shouting, "Oh my, The dragon warrior! I shall come out to see you!" Knowing his daughter had rejected him, he shouted "Li Mei, stay in your room!"

Liang Yu got dressed in his daily attire and went outside to greet the dragon warrior. The Dragon Warrior towered above him, echoing authority. His presence, the stern look on his face, he was displeased.

Liang Yu looked up at him and said with grave respect "How are you? Would you Like me to bring something outside for you to eat?" To protect his daughter by keeping him outside, but still trying to be respectful and get him food.

Tai Lung smirked, and said, "Your daughter is quite beautiful." Then paced around the gander, threatening the already tense Chinese gander.

Tai Lung said to the gander father "Are you aware that I am the most important man here? The one who helps the others protect you? The undefeated?" Tai Lung is extremely hard to defeat due to Shifu's training.

Tai Lung wanted to see Li Mei personally. He did not want to eat her, but he did hope to kill her. His mood was shot. He was mentally unstable, to be honest.

Tai Lung asks, "Can I see Li Mei?" That was a petrified "No," from Liang Yu.

His emotions for Li Mei turned to anger, rage, and unbridled wrath.

Li Mei was scared, she heard Tai Lung's voice. Her left wing covers her beak in gasping horror.

All Tai Lung said was "All I need is to see Li Mei in the morning. We'll meet at a restaurant."

Too scared to bring her to meet such a volatile man such as him, Liang Yu says, "I cannot, for I fear you will harm my daughter."

All Tai Lung did was look at him in confusion, then ask "What?"

Then laughs, saying "I'm the Dragon Warrior."

Liang Yu replied, "Listen, I will go to the restaurant with you alone. There, we can talk about Li Mei."

Tai Lung felt... Confused, but curious and asked, "Why can't Li Mei be with me?" Then wondered "If he is... Is he why she doesn't want me?"

Liang Yu replied, "Listen, you are probably angry with Li Mei, that is natural, but let us not be rash. Let us go to dinner." Liang Yu was kind and calm in his speech.

Tai Lung said, "You own a buffet." He knew he was hiding her.

Liang Yu then went into his home, locked his door and grabbed ¥351.42 (Chinese Yuan), which is worth about $50 in today's society.

He had in total ¥480,000 in yearly earnings from his business. That's worth around $70,000.

Liang Yu went outside and locked his door behind him and showed him the ¥351.42 and said, "I cannot fight you and win, so take this Yuan and do not hurt my family."

Tai Lung found this rich, and laughed hysterically. He shouted, "Are you paying me to stay away from Li Mei?!"

Liang Yu found out how this looked, and screams "Oh, no! I am trying to pay you not to hurt her!"

Tai Lung looked at him, stunned. Then he scoffs, annoyed and furious and knocks harder on the door yelling, "Li Mei! Open the door!" No longer desiring to kill.

Tai Lung heard a soft & worried "No..." From Li Mei... Tai Lung instantly kicks the door open, being apparently strong enough to do that. All he needed was to hear her and know she was home.

Instantly, Liang Yu ran into the house and awoke his wife, An Qi, who was a proud karate master of a dojo when she was younger.

Liang Yu told her "Tai Lung came to collect Li Mei!" So she jumped up urgently in action and shouted, "Leave her alone!"

Liang Yu shouted, "Please, leave her alone! She didn't mean to hurt you! We talked her out of it!"

Li Mei had locked her bedroom door, but Tai Lung wasn't banging on doors or anything, he was just saying, "I took the money." Then he snatched the money from him saying, "See? I accept. Now, I want to speak to my future wife."

Li Mei shouts, "Are you- What are you doing, Tai Lung? What is so important that you break into my home?!" She is absolutely petrified.

Now, Li Mei's family were devout Christians, despite their planet's Aliens having their own afterlife they go to aside from the Earthlings in this alternate universe.

This was due to Spiritual experiences they had. Thus, Li Mei started praying fervently for her safety.

Li Mei shouted, "God, please!" No longer desiring to be with Tai Lung.

Tai Lung says, "It's okay, I don't want to hurt you." to Li Mei, then says, "I forgive you." Li Mei felt she was too mean and inappropriate when it came to mating in her letter, and knew he'd be furious at that. It was the main reason she was too scared to face him, the worst part of the letter. She felt stupid for including it. It was too far for her!

Li Mei heard him shout, "I forgive you, Li Mei!" Then she opens the door slowly, and sees her mother, father, and Tai Lung.

Tai Lung says, "I will marry you. I will love you. Just come and live with me." He is not gonna marry her.

Li Mei says, "No, you scared me..."

Li Mei didn't feel up to dating the guy she's been scared of for days.

Tai Lung told her family, "it's okay." They backed down out of fear, but her mother says, "Go, now! We do not desire you to marry her! You've broken into our home!"

Tai Lung left and the next morning, he came back and saw Li Mei, --

...but he kidnapped her and took her to a place he sought, a motel he could stay in.

Li Mei was screaming, and shouting, "Oh my gosh! What are you doing?!" And Tai Lung says, "I will have you."

Li Mei shouts, "Oh my gosh, you're crazy! I doubted what they said about you, but you truly are insane!"

Tai Lung was filled with anger, but chewed it up and said, "Okay, that's fine. They turned you against me." So, she shook her head, "No." Then he said, "You're lying."

Li Mei calms down and says, "Tai, it's okay..." Trying to appease him. She wasn't tied up or bound, but she was considering being with him just to make sure that he didn't do anything rash.

He said "I just want to talk to you."

Li Mei replied, "Okay..."

Tai Lung said, "Listen, I've always felt worthless... And... Having you would help me gain back that feeling..."

Li Mei instantly felt guilt. She felt like it was part of the letter speaking of mating.  The whole reason she only wanted him to read it is because she felt it would be humiliating if anyone else got the letter.

Instead, Shifu and Oogway saw it.

Li Mei didn't know this, but said, "I'm sorry about what I wrote to you in that scroll..." And Tai Lung looks at her and laughs, saying, "No... It's fine..." His ego was bruised.

Tai Lung says, "It's not going to do you any good to bring up my shame... But... We'll be together..."

Tai Lung does NOT love Li Mei, Tai Lung lost all attraction to Li Mei. Tai Lung just wants to win Li Mei back to build his ego.
